Dear Readers,

For this issue of my newsletter I want to share something I wrote in July, 2014, shortly after a Malaysian airliner en route from Amsterdam to Malaysia was shot down over Ukraine. The piece is especially timely in light of the May 27 release of an investigative report in Holland alleging to have “definite” proof that the MH-17 airliner was shot down by a Russian BUK missile. That May, 2018 report presents no definitive new forensic evidence. Rather it relies on assertions and speculations by sources, including the UK-based Bellingcat, an intelligence operation receiving funds from among others, the NATO-linked Atlantic Council, where he is listed as “Nonresident Senior Fellow.”

In 2014 Bellingcat first engaged in assertions of Russian shooting of the MH-17 that were fraudulent and today would accurately be called fake news. Bellingcat’s Eliot Higgins posted a photo on July 14, 2014 under the headline, "Found: The Buk Missile Launcher That Downed Flight MH17." Higgins wrote that the photo had been taken in the town of Snizhne. It was actually proven to have been taken in the town of Torez and under weather conditions significantly different to those on the day of the MH-17 crash. Higgins claimed it was unimportant when the photograph was taken or where…

Further, in the initial attempt to blame Moscow, on July 19 2014, Kiev’s Security Service (SBU) published photos online that it claimed showed ‘Russia’ secretly withdrawing a BUK-M surface-to-air missile system from the Ukraine civil war zone. At the time SBU Chief Vitaly Naida declared to press “The SBU … is getting clear evidence of Russian citizens’ involvement in the terrorist attack (on the Malaysian Airlines Boeing)”. However, bloggers immediately spotted the photos were of a Kiev air-defense system no. 312, previously pictured in March that year. With this background in mind, the latest attempt to reuse the badly discredited Bellingcat blog as investigative source for the latest attempt to again cast blame on Moscow, is highly revealing. With this in mind, I thought it worthwhile to reprint for you my initial investigation of the MH-17 affair written in July, 2014.

Censorship? One important note to all of you readers to underscore how the internet is being increasingly censored and critical websites or authors such as yours truly are coming under increasing attack. In March this year, 2018 I self-published via a subsidiary of Amazon, my newest book, Manifest Destiny: Democracy as Cognitive Dissonance. For the first two months, sales were building strongly. Then in early May just two hours after a major interview on the book on a very popular critical media in the US, I received an email, unsigned, from the Amazon publishing company announcing that my book had been delisted. Since then sales have dropped dramatically despite favorable reviews. It is impossible to prove that Amazon’s company censored my book just when a burst of sales would be expected, but the case shows how vulnerable free speech has become and how real internet censorship is becoming.

Ukraine MH-17 is CIA False Flag and It Ain’t Flying

The world has seen all this theatre before. We saw it with the false flag Gulf of Tonkin incident during the Vietnam War. We saw it with the CIA-Saudi faked Sarin gas episode in 2013 that brought the world to the brink of a world war. We saw it in the fake Niger uranium yellowcake episode that was used to bully a US Congress into war against Saddam Hussein’s Iraq in 2003—the so-called Weapons of Mass Destruction that never were found. Now the world is seeing it again in the frantic efforts of the US State Department and elements of the CIA to try to blame Putin’s Russia for allegedly giving the East Ukraine separatist rebels highly sophisticated Russian anti-aircraft weapons allegedly used to shoot down the Malaysian Airlines.

Putin, so charges Secretary of State John Kerry on five (!) US talk shows on July 20, is de facto guilty for not controlling the east Ukraine rebels. The proof of it all? “Social media,” according to the State Department official press spokesperson.

The good news for those sober souls who are not eager to see a World War III pitting China-Russia and the BRICS against a US-led NATO and turning Westzern Europe into a devastated Trümmerfeld for the third time in a century, is that this attempt to blame Putin’s Russia is backfiring even as this is being written.

Dear Readers, In the Western World truth, justice, and liberty are in total collapse. They cannot be resurrected and restored without information. Few people have that information. In America, and throughout the Western world, it is harder and harder to speak the truth. Indeed, truth is such a devalued virtue that to speak it almost qualifies one as a criminal. If you want truth spoken, you must support it.

I remember when America was a free country. You could get on an airliner without an ID. Driving licenses didn’t even have photos. If a friend was coming through your city on a flight and had a few hours layover, you could meet them inside the airport for lunch or dinner. You could meet friends, children, and relatives at the gate or see them off at the gate. Parents could actually put children on the plane and grandparents could take them off.

Your flight ticket was good at any airline. If something happened to your flight or you missed it, you could use the ticket on another airline going to the same place. On international flights you were permitted two free stopovers prior to your destination. If you were going to Athens, Greece, for example, you could first visit Paris and then Rome. It worked both ways, over and back. So one air ticket, six cities.

6.4 A segunda guerra contra o Iraque.

O plano dos Estados Unidos de atacar e ocupar o Iraque torna-se evidente quando, depois da ocupação do Afeganistão, em Novembro de 2001, o Presidente Bush o coloca, em 2002, no primeiro lugar entre os países que fazem parte do «Eixo do Mal».

Depois da primeira guerra do Golfo, em 1991, o Iraque foi submetido a um férreo embargo que, em dez anos, provocou cerca de um milhão de mortos, dos quais, cerca de meio milhão eram crianças. Um massacre provocado, mais do que a desnutrição crónica e a falta de medicamentos, pela carência de água potável e pelas consequentes doenças infecciosas e parasitárias. Os Estados Unidos – demonstram-no documentos vindos à luz mais tarde – executaram um plano preciso: primeiro bombardearam as instalações de depuração e os aquedutos para provocar uma crise hídrica e, assim, impedir com o embargo, que o Iraque pudesse importar os sistemas de depuração. As consequências sanitárias eram previstas, claramente, desde o início e programadas de modo a acelerar o colapso do Iraque. Outras vítimas são provocadas, nos anos seguintes à primeira guerra, pelos projecteis de urânio empobrecido, usados maciçamente pelas forças americanas e aliadas, quer nos bombardeamentos aéreos, quer nos terrestres.

No entanto, a segunda guerra contra o Iraque, revela-se ainda mais difícil de encorajar do que a que foi levada a cabo em 1991. Ao contrário de então, o Iraque de Saddam Hussein não cometeu nenhuma agressão e respeita a Resolução 1441 do Conselho de Segurança das Nações Unidas, permitindo aos inspectores da ONU entrar em todos os sítios para verificar a existência eventual de armas de destruição em massa (que não foram encontradas). Consequentemente, torna-se mais difícil aos Estados Unidos, criar uma motivação «legal» para a guerra e, nesta base, obter uma aprovação internacional análoga à de 1991.

No entanto, a Administração Bush decide ir até ao fim. Em seguida, apresenta ao Conselho de Segurança da ONU uma série de «provas» recolhidas pela CIA, que depois foram demonstradas serem falsas, sobre a presumível existência de um grande arsenal de armas químicas e bacteriológicas na posse do Iraque, e sobre uma presumível capacidade de construir num breve espaço de tempo, armas nucleares. Visto que o Conselho de Segurança se recusa a autorizar a guerra, a Administração Bush, simplesmente, ignora-o.

A guerra inicia-se em 20 de Março de 2003 com o bombardeamento aéreo de Baghdad e outros centros, pela aviação americana e britânica e com o ataque terrestre efectuado pelos marines, que entram no Iraque pelo Kuwait. Em 9 de Abril, as tropas americanas ocupam Baghdad. A operação, denominada «Iraqi Freedom», é apresentada como «guerra preventiva» e «exportação da democracia». Deste modo, é posto em acção o princípio enunciado na Quadrennial Defense Review Report, do Pentágono (30 de Setembro de 2001): «As forças armadas americanas, sob a direcção do Presidente, devem manter a capacidade de impor a vontade dos Estados Unidos a qualquer adversário, incluindo Estados e entidades não estatais, mudar o regime de um Estado adversário ou ocupar um território estrangeiro, enquanto os objectivos estratégicos dos Estados Unidos não estiverem realizados».

Mas, acima da «vontade dos Estados Unidos», está a vontade dos povos de resistir. É o que acontece no Iraque, onde as forças de ocupação americanas e aliadas – compreendendo as italianas, empenhadas na operação «Antiga Babilónia» - encontram uma resistência que não esperavam enfrentar. Para impedi-la, o Iraque é posto a ferro e fogo por outro milhão e meio de soldados, que o Pentágono desloca em rotação, juntamente com centenas de milhares de militares contratados, usando qualquer meio: desde bombas de fósforo contra a população de Falluja às torturas nas prisões de Abu Ghraib. Provocando cerca de um milhão de vítimas civis, juntem-se-lhes as vítimas da primeira guerra contra o Iraque e as do embargo, forçando mais de dois milhões de iraquianos a abandonar as suas casas e outros tantos a refugiar-se na Síria e na Jordânia.

Uma guerra que deixa o país devastado, com uma desocupação superior a 50%, com metade dos médicos que tinha antes da invasão, com um terço das crianças afectadas por subnutrição, às quais se juntam as crianças atingidas por malformação genética devido às armas de urânio empobrecido e outras usadas pelo Pentágono. Uma guerra que os Estados Unidos pagam com 4.500 mortos e mais de 30.000 feridos entre os militares, 30% dos quis regressam a casa com problemas psíquicos. Custou 1.000 biliões de dólares, aos quais se juntam cerca de 4 mil biliões de dólares de despesas indirectas, como as de ajuda aos veteranos.

Dado que a resistência iraquiana bloqueia a máquina bélica americana e aliada, Washington recorre à política antiga mas sempre eficaz «divide et impera», fazendo concessões a alguns agrupamentos shiitas e curdos para isolar os sunitas. No caso da operação não ser bem sucedida, Washington tem preparado um plano de reserva: desagregar o Iraque (como já fez com a Federação Jugoslava) de modo a poder controlar a zona petrolífera e outras áreas de interesse estratégico, através de acordos com grupos de poder locais. No Curdistão iraquiano, onde operam desde 2003, forças especiais americanas, Washington liga a si o governo regional curdo de Masoud Barzani, com o qual a ExxonMobil conclui um contrato avultado para a exploração petrolífera, contornando o governo de Baghdad.

Baseada nessa estratégia a NATO intervém oficialmente e participa na guerra de facto, com as suas forças e estruturas. Em 2004 é instituída a «Missão NATO de treino», com o objectivo declarado de «ajudar o Iraque a criar forças armadas eficientes.» De 2004 a 2011, são treinados em 2.000 cursos especiais levados a cabo nos países da Aliança, milhares de militares e polícias iraquianos que chegam dotados de armas doadas por esses mesmos países. Ao mesmo tempo, a NATO envia para o Iraque, instrutores e conselheiros, compreendendo os italianos, para «ajudar o Iraque a criar um sector próprio de segurança, com orientação democrática e durável» e para «estabelecer uma parceria a longo prazo, da NATO com o Iraque».

Die politisch-medialen Projektoren konzentrieren sich auf den Migrationsstrom über das Mittelmeer von Süden nach Norden und lassen die anderen Mittelmeerströme im Dunkeln – jene von Norden nach Süden, die Streitkräfte und Waffen beinhalten.

Vielleicht sollten wir besser vom “Großen Mittelmeer” sprechen, einem Gebiet im Rahmen der USA/NATO-Strategie, das sich vom Atlantik zum Schwarzen Meer und im Süden vom Persischen Golf bis zum Indischen Ozean erstreckt.

Während seinem Treffen mit NATO-Generalsekretär Jens Stoltenberg in Rom, betonte Premierminister Giuseppe Conte die „zentrale Bedeutung des großräumigen Mittelmeeres für die europäische Sicherheit“, die jetzt durch den „Bogen der Instabilität vom Mittelmeer bis zum Nahen Osten“ bedroht ist. Deshalb ist ein Bündnis unter US-Kommando wichtig für die NATO, welches Conte als „Pfeiler der nationalen und internationalen Sicherheit“ bezeichnet. Das ist eine vollständige Verdrehung der Realität.

Es ist die Grundlage der US/NATO-Strategie, die in Wahrheit den „Bogen der Instabilität“ hervorgerufen hat, durch zwei Kriege gegen den Irak, den beiden weiteren Kriegen, die Jugoslawien und Lybien zerstört haben und den Krieg, der die Zerstörung Syriens zum Ziel hat. Laut Conte spielt Italien, das an all diesen Kriegen teilnahm, “eine Schlüsselrolle für die Sicherheit und die Stabilität der Südflanke des Bündnisses”.

Inwiefern? Wir können die Wahrheit durch das, was die Medien verbergen, herausfinden. Das US-Marineschiff Trenton, das 42 Flüchtlinge aufnahm (die im Gegensatz zu denen der Aquarius in Sizilien an Land gehen durften), ist nicht in Sizilien stationiert, um humanitäre Zwecke im Mittelmeer zu erfüllen – es ist in Wahrheit eine schnelle Eingreiftruppe (bis zu 80 km/h), die innerhalb weniger Stunden die nordafrikanische Küste erreichen kann, eine Expeditionstruppe mit 400 Soldaten und ihren Fahrzeugen. Infolgedessen nimmt der Migrationsstrom weiterhin dramatisch zu und erschafft Opfer und neue Formen der Sklaverei. “Es scheint, dass es sich jetzt auszahlt, hart gegen Immigration vorzugehen”, kommentierte Präsident Trump in Bezug auf die Maßnahmen, die nicht nur von Mattea Salvini sondern von der ganzen italienischen Regierung beschlossen wurden, deren Premierminister als „fantastisch“ bezeichnet wird.

Dies ist eine angemessene Anerkennung seitens der Vereinigten Staaten, die im Programm der Regierung als „priveligierter Verbündeter“ Italiens benannt sind.

The politico-media projectors, focussed as they are on the migratory flow from South to North across the Mediterranean, are leaving other Mediterranean flows in the dark – those moving from North to South, comprised of military forces and weapons. Perhaps we should say the « Greater Mediterranean », an area which, in the framework of USA / NATO strategy, stretches from the Atlantic to the Black Sea, and to the South, from the Persian Gulf as far as the Indian Ocean.

During his meeting with NATO Secretary Jens Stoltenberg, in Rome, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte pointed out the « centrality of the greater Mediterranean for European security », now threatened by the « arc of instability stretching from the Mediterranean to the Middle East ». Which is why it is important for NATO, an alliance under US command, which Conte describes as the « pillar of interior and international security ». This is a complete inversion of reality.

It is the foundation of USA / NATO strategy which in fact provoked the « arc of instability » with:

Ø its two wars against Iraq,

Ø the two other wars which demolished the states of Yugoslavia and Libya,

Ø the war aimed at demolishing the state of Syria.

According to Conte, Italy, which participated in all these wars, plays « a key role for the security and the stability of the Southern flank of the Alliance ».

In what way? We can discover the truth by what the medias are hiding. The US navy ship Trenton, which welcomed aboard 42 refugees (authorised to land in Sicily, unlike those of the Aquarius), is not based in Sicily in order to carry out humanitarian actions in the Mediterranean – it is in fact a rapid force unit (up to 80 km/h), capable of landing on the coasts of North Africa, within a few hours, an expeditionary force comprising 400 soldiers and their vehicles. US Special Forces are operating in Libya to train and lead allied army formations, while US armed drones, taking off from Sigonella (Sicily), hit their targets in Libya. In a short time, announced Stoltenberg, NATO drones will also be operating from Sigonella. They will integrate the « Hub » or « NATO Strategic Direction South » (NSDS), the intelligence centre for military operations in the Middle East, North Africa, the Sahel and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Hub, which will become operational in July, has its headquarters in Lago Patria, alongside the Joint Force Command of NATO (JFC Naples), under the orders of a US admiral - presently James Foggo – who will also command US naval forces in Europe (with their headquarters at Naples-Capodichino, and the Sixth Fleet based in Gaeta) and also the US naval forces for Africa. These forces have been integrated by the aircraft-carrier Harry Truman, which entered the Mediterranean two months ago with its attack group.

On 10 June, while media attention was focussed on the Aquarius, the US fleet, carrying 8,000 soldiers, and armed with 90 fighters and more than 1,000 missiles, was deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean, ready to strike in Syria and Iraq. At the same time, on 12-13 June, the Liberty Pride docked at Livorno – it is a militarised US ship, and carried on its 12 bridges further cargos of weapons which, from the US base of Camp Darby (Pisa), are sent every month to Jordan and Saudi Arabia to cultivate the wars in Syria and Yemen.

This is how we feed these wars, which, using neo-colonial methods of exploitation, provoke the pauperisation and uprooting of populations. Consequently, the migratory flow continues to increase dramatically, creating victims and new forms of slavery. « It seems that being tough on immigration now pays », commented President Trump, referring to the measures decided not only by Matteo Salvini, but by the totality of the Italian government, whose Prime Minister is qualified as « fantastic ».

This is fair recognition on the part of the United States, which, in the government's programme, is defined as a « privileged ally » of Italy.

Considero ser necessário falar hoje, de novo, sobre os trágicos acontecimentos em Donbass e sobre os aspectos mais importantes de garantir a segurança da Rússia.

Começarei com o que disse no meu discurso de 21 de Fevereiro de 2022. Falei sobre as nossas maiores responsabilidades e preocupações e sobre as ameaças fundamentais que os irresponsáveis políticos ocidentais criaram à Rússia de forma continuada, com rudeza e sem cerimónias, de ano para ano. Refiro-me à expansão da NATO para Leste, que está a aproximar cada vez mais as suas infraestruturas militares da fronteira russa.

A sua máquina militar está em movimento e, como disse, aproxima-se da nossa fronteira.

Porque é que isto está a acontecer? De onde veio esta forma insolente de falar que atinge o máximo do seu excepcionalismo, infalibilidade e permissividade? Qual é a explicação para esta atitude de desprezo e desdém pelos nossos interesses e exigências absolutamente legítimas?
