De plus en plus évident est le fait que la guerre en cours n’est pas seulement entre la Russie et l’Ukraine, mais entre la Russie et l’OTAN. Ce que confirme la nouvelle donnée par le New York Times que des milliers de soldats ukrainiens sont entraînés sur le sol britannique. États-unis, Grande-Bretagne, Canada, Danemark, Pologne et d’autres pays ont entraîné et armé depuis 2015 des dizaines de milliers de soldats ukrainiens, utilisés contre la Russie, de fait sous commandement USA-OTAN.
Parallèlement est menée une campagne croissante pour diffuser la haine contre la Russie. Dans le Central Park de New York a été installée, dans un parc de jeux, une statue de Poutine de couleur rouge sang, assis sur un char d’assaut contre lequel les enfants tirent avec leurs pistolets factices. Ainsi diffuse-t-on en Occident le type d’”éducation” opéré depuis des années en Ukraine dans les camps-école du bataillon Azov où enfants et adolescents reçoivent une formation fondée sur les idées de suprématisme blanc et le néo-nazisme. Pendant que le gouvernement ukrainien annonce qu’il enverra au bûcher 100 millions de livres russes (y compris tous les classiques de la littérature) considérés comme “source du Mal”, l’Italie contribue à ce type d’”éducation” en allouant 200 millions d’euros, soustraits à l’École Publique, pour le paiement des salaires des enseignants des écoles ukrainiennes.
Le croissant engagement militaire italien sur le front oriental et dans d’autres scénarios de guerre comporte une dépense militaire croissante. Mario Draghi, de la dissolution des Chambres (21 juillet) jusqu’à ce jour, a transmis aux Chambres 7 décrets pour des programmes d’armement dont le coût dépasse les 7 milliards d’euros. Ainsi continue à augmenter la dépense militaire italienne, qui a grimpé à 29 milliards d’euros annuels, équivalents à 80 millions d’euros par jour, soustraits aux dépense sociales fondamentales.

Considero ser necessário falar hoje, de novo, sobre os trágicos acontecimentos em Donbass e sobre os aspectos mais importantes de garantir a segurança da Rússia.
Começarei com o que disse no meu discurso de 21 de Fevereiro de 2022. Falei sobre as nossas maiores responsabilidades e preocupações e sobre as ameaças fundamentais que os irresponsáveis políticos ocidentais criaram à Rússia de forma continuada, com rudeza e sem cerimónias, de ano para ano. Refiro-me à expansão da NATO para Leste, que está a aproximar cada vez mais as suas infraestruturas militares da fronteira russa.

Em resposta às nossas propostas, enfrentámos invariavelmente, ou engano cínico e mentiras, ou tentativas de pressão e de chantagem, enquanto a aliança do Atlântico Norte continuou a expandir-se, apesar dos nossos protestos e preocupações. A sua máquina militar está em movimento e, como disse, aproxima-se da nossa fronteira.
Porque é que isto está a acontecer? De onde veio esta forma insolente de falar que atinge o máximo do seu excepcionalismo, infalibilidade e permissividade? Qual é a explicação para esta atitude de desprezo e desdém pelos nossos interesses e exigências absolutamente legítimas?
