WORLD WAR III? PUTIN’S GAMBLE AND THE WEST’S PROVOCATIONS

Putin just raised the nuclear threat on Sunday after some incredible financial sanctions by the West. What is the world hurling towards? World War 3 or just mad posturing by both sides to see who blinks first? Let’s analyze the volatile situation in Ukraine.

Russia invaded Ukraine four days ago and is now on the verge of entering and capturing Kiev (Kyiv), the capital. If that was shocking, the West’s actions over the last 24 hours have been even more shocking. Rather than negotiating peace, the West upped the ante by implementing unthinkable sanctions and moves.

First, the West cut off many Russian banks from SWIFT, the global financial/payment system. Without that, Russian banks will be practically cut off from the world — the only hope being using China’s system, which is not quite mature yet.

Second, and more jarring, was freezing Russian central bank’s foreign exchange reserves — about $300 billion in dollars and Euros. This is just pure theft. Also, this allows Wall Street and London financiers to attack the Russian currency, Ruble, which will likely lose 50-80% of its value on Monday. This will lead to serious inflation and partial collapse of the Russian economy.

What is perplexing is that Europe is not considering the possibility that Putin can cut off all oil and natural gas supplies to Europe. Even is that’s done for a few weeks, the impact will be enormous. Germany relies on Russia for 60% of its energy supplies. Other countries like Austria depend almost entirely on Russia.

All this for Ukraine? Insanity.

Why is Ukraine so important? After all, it’s a poor country with a GDP-per-capita of $3700 — or, about $10 a day. The bottom line here is about Ukraine’s neutrality — if it’s going to join NATO or stay as a neutral buffer between Russia and Europe.

Forgetting the lessons of WW1 and WW2, Europeans are jumping into this conflict. European countries — including Germany — have now said they will supply weapons and even fighter jets to Ukraine; and they have closed their airspace to all Russian civilian planes.

The U.S. doesn’t have much to lose. If Europe and Russia get into wars, it will be just good news for America’s geopolitical ambitions. Divide and Rule. Europe will become weaker, which means stronger dollar and more power for the U.S. After all, this is how the U.S. came to dominate Europe, which destroyed itself twice in WW1 and WW2.

NATO Expansion

In 1990, there were 10 European countries in NATO, which was originally created to protect Europe from the USSR. This relic of Cold War could have been disabled when the Soviet Union collapsed.

In fact,declassified documents of the U.S. National Archives show that the U.S. and European leaders promised in 1990 that NATO would move “not one inch eastward” after the USSR was dismantled. So, what happened?

In 1999 — when Russia was totally pro-US and was run by Yeltsin and other US puppets — NATO added three new countries: Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic. In 2004, NATO added 9 more countries; then two more in 2020.

Rather than befriending Russia and bringing it into the West’s sphere, the West kept treating Russia like an enemy. In 2002, the U.S. unilaterally withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile (ABM) treat with Russia. In 2019 and 2020, the U.S. withdrew from the intermediate and long-range treaty as well as the Open Skies Treaty.

The powers-that-be just want Cold War 2.0. From a practical point of view, the West should be making friends with Russia in order to isolate China, which is the real geopolitical, economic, and technology competitor.

But it looks like the globalists want a formidable war: EU + USA against Russia + China.

Ukraine, the Geopolitical Pawn

Ukraine has always been a strategic target for the West and an asset for Russia. Throughout the Cold War, the CIA funded nationalists and Neo-Nazi groups in Ukraine — as in Project Aerodynamic. In the 1990s, Brzezinski — mastermind of the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan — said that stealing Ukraine from Russia would mean essentially decapitating Russia. He suggested that Ukraine should be added to NATO by 2010.

Thus, the U.S. (through George Soros and the State Department) instigated a color revolution in 2004 (“Orange Revolution”) to overthrow the election of a pro-Russia President in Ukraine. He came back after a few years and won another election in 2010. Carl Gershman, the founder of the National Endowment of Democracy (NED) — a CIA front group — wrote in 2013 that “Ukraine is the biggest prize.” Of course, the U.S. orchestrated another coup in Feb 2014 and took over Ukraine.

Putin’s Gamble and Mistake

For Putin, there was just no way that he could allow Ukraine to become a part of NATO. It would mean U.S. missiles within 300 miles from Moscow. That would be like Mexico allowing Chinese missiles and Russian military.

So, what happens next? There are several possibilities:

  1. Russia and Ukraine negotiate a peaceful solution. And Ukraine promises to be neutral and not join NATO. This will end the crisis within a few days or weeks.
  2. Putin takes over Ukraine, does a regime change, and tries to create a new Ukraine. This will be a long drama, since the U.S. and Europe will be doing their best to sabotage a stable Ukraine.
  3. Russia shuts off all oil/gas to Europe and perhaps even goes to war against some European countries in retaliation for sanctions. All hell breaks loose.

Russia’s problem is that it lacks financial and soft power like the West. America and Europe control the world financial systems, world media, and most world politicians.

However, the U.S. may be engaging in a long-term faux pas. The extreme financial sanctions against Russia will only accelerate the creation of an alternate system outside the Western hegemony. China, Russia, Iran and others will double their efforts to free themselves from the clutches of the West by creating a new financial system (with digital currency) and by investing in more formidable weapons.

Thus, 2022 will be the beginning of the demise of … Russia or the American Century.

There has been much speculation about why Israel was allowed in 1967 to bomb intentionally the USS Liberty and slaughtered 34 of our soldiers on that ship and the U.S. Government has covered-it-up. And there also is much speculation about why, as reported to Congress by the Congressional Research Service on 7 August 2019, “Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $142.3 billion (current, or noninflation-adjusted, dollars) in bilateral assistance and missile defense funding. Almost all U.S. bilateral aid to Israel is in the form of military assistance.” (That “noninflation-adjusted”  figure might be closer to a trillion dollars in today’s money. For example, a billion dollars in 1971 is worth $6.83 billion today. This means that in 1971, $146.4 billion was worth the same as a trillion dollars is worth in today’s money. So: in today’s money, what U.S. taxpayers have donated to Israel in order for it to pay for U.S. missiles, etc., was almost a trillion dollars, and that’s been a gift to U.S. armaments-firms — to the people who own those firms — for them to sell (& U.S. taxpayers to pay for) to Israel. Nowadays, Americans donate $3.8 billion annually to Israel. $3.3 billion of that is for U.S.-made weapons. Why? It’s to subsidize America’s billionaires. And look at how phenominally profitable such subsidies have helped to make their investments! (Click onto this.)  In other words: merely by misrepresenting “foreign aid” as-if it were something that it overwhelmingly is not (and closer to being the very opposite of “charitable”), the U.S. aristocracy become further-enriched by (and they purchase — with taxpayer-money — the alliance, the backing, from) other nations’ aristocracies (such as Israel’s). Some gang-of-thieves!

 

75% of Americans approve of Israel. Only 30% approve of the “Palestinian Authority” that  represents the people whom the Israelis conquered. Obviously, America’s ‘news’-media are strongly favorable toward Israel, and portray Israel’s victims in as-negative-a-light as is possible to do — and they portray opposition to Israel as being necessarily ‘anti-Semitic’. Certainly in the Palestinian case, it’s not that — it is against evil (by Israel).

 

Americans aren’t outraged that their Government donates to Israel’s constant war against Palestians (to crush them), but instead blame the Palestinians for Israel's decades-long ethnic-cleansing of Palestinians — its ethnic-cleansing that's in order to retain Israel’s ‘democracy’ of Jewish rule against Muslims. Americans are imperialists; but, in this particular instance, they are for imperialism by Jews (especially the wealthiest of them) in that land, against Muslims (especially the poorest of them) there, instead of being by Americans against Cubans, or by Americans against Venezuelans, or by Americans against Ukrainians (the normal type of attempted or achieved takeover by America’s billionaires — which group the U.S. Government represents).

As the great anonymous investigative journalist who writes the “Moon Over Alabama” blog documented on October 9th, U.S. President Donald Trump signed, on October 8th, Executive Order 13902, which will apply crushing penalties to any entity which trades with Iran, and this will finally close off the entry of food and medicine into Iran, so as to complete the destruction of Iran that has already been done previously by Trump and the U.S. Congress (the sanctions resolutions), and by the global coronavirus epidemic. The writer points out also a possibility that a few countries, such as China, Russia, and perhaps even India, might be willing to suffer those crushing penalties, in order not to buckle to what they would view to be an international dictatorship — basically, in order to preserve their own national sovereignty (because they couldn’t preserve their independence while adhering to the dictates of a Government that is treating them as being an enemy). He also notes that this crushing blow to Iran could have been perpetrated particularly at the present time in order for Trump’s failing re-election campaign to be able to draw in enough financial donations “from the Zionist lobby” (basically, billionaires in the U.S. and Israel) so as to be able to increase his chances of re-election.

 

Trump would not have been able to win the Presidency in 2016 if he had not been backed by $82 million of political donations by the U.S-Israeli casino-operator Sheldon Adelson (plus many other Zionists, some of whom are Christians — in addition, of course, to other types of billionaires, who don’t happen to place Israel’s interests above all others).

 

Furthermore, the article that some speculate might have sparked Trump to think seriously about doing this, which was published as an opinion-piece in the Zionist Wall Street Journal on August 27th and titled “How the U.S. Can Finally Cut Off Tehran’s Financial Oxygen”, was written by Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, which was founded by Adelson and other Zionist billionaires; and was co-written by Richard Goldberg, who is part of FDD’s “Team”; and the biography of Goldberg there states, about his time on the U.S. National Security Council, that, “On the NSC, Richard coordinated President Trump’s maximum pressure campaign on Iran.” So, perhaps Trump had been considering this action previously, and is doing it now, due only to the Presidential campaign.

 

In any case, this is yet another example of regime-change in action, from the U.S. Government, which had perpetrated a coup in Iran in 1953, in order to cut U.S.-and-allied oil companies in on Iran’s oil, just as that oil was being nationalized by Iran’s popular Prime Minister Mohammed Mosaddegh, who was a nationalist and a progressive, who (as a secular) was opposed by Iran’s clerics. That clergy ended up taking over the country when the U.S.-imposed dictator Shah finally became overthrown in 1979, which restoration of Iranian control has precipitated, ever since 1979, the U.S. Government’s determination to grab Iran, once again — a determination that is supported especially by the Governments in UK, Netherlands, and Israel. The countries of “the Seven Sisters” oil companies are owned and controlled by U.S., UK and Dutch, billionaires. Those companies are controlled by Christian billionaires. So, in the current operation (the current U.S.-Government operation for regime-change in a foreign country), it’s really a partnership between Christian and Jewish billionaires, which is now squeezing Iran so as to maximize the desperateness of the Iranian people, in order to force them to overthrow their existing Government, and bring back in foreign control, over their Government (and over their oil). 

 

However, for Donald Trump, right now, it is a desperate move for him to retain his Presidency over the United States, in order for him to continue to serve the interests of his chief financial backers. Joe Biden, by contrast, is backed by Democratic Party billionaires. Most of America’s oil billionaires are Republicans, not Democrats.

 

In America, the issues that are the most important to the public are not the issues that are the most important to the billionaires; and, so, the people who actually choose the two Parties’ Presidential and congressional nominees — which is being done in primaries — care little, if at all, about the problems that the American people face, since those billionaires make sure, in the primaries, that no candidate who aims to reign-in the powers of the billionaire-class will become a nominee of their Party. Whichever of the two nominees will win, will certainly fulfill his promises to his billionaire backers, and will likely not even push very hard to move forward toward realization his promises to the voters — which latter promises are typically waiting for decades (if ever) to be realized.

 

However bad this is for the American people, it is far worse for the populations in countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iran, Venezuela, Iran, Russia, and China. But it is very good for U.S.-and-allied billionaires.

Despite the impact Covid-19 has had on the global economy, the US is seeking more funding to counter and confront China in the Pacific, as well as enhancing its military preparedness for scenarios involving nuclear warfare.
The coronavirus outbreak has impacted the global economy in a unique and unprecedented fashion unseen since World War II. Around 63 percent of Japanese businesses have projected a negative impact on their business performance due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Since the start of the outbreak, stock markets have seen drops of over 20 percent, Chinese car sales have decreased by 86 percent and global interest rates have been slashed. Over 16 million Americans have filed jobless claims recently as unemployment runs rampant across the country. The travel industry has all but completely collapsed.
What should we make then of the recent $20 billion wishlist which was submitted to Congress by US Indo-Pacific Command head Adm. Phil Davidson? According to Defense News, this wishlist was specifically requested by members of Congress who are looking for a Pacific-focused supply of money to deter China in the Indo-Pacific region.

The United States government has revealed its contempt for human compassion and global solidarity by refusing to lift draconian sanctions on Iran and Venezuela during the Covid-19 crisis, director Oliver Stone has argued.
Iran has suffered immensely from the virus, Stone noted in an op-ed published by the New York Daily News, but due to US sanctions the Islamic Republic is “reportedly the only country in the world that cannot buy medicines needed to fight the pandemic."
The outspoken Hollywood legend similarly condemned Washington’s decision to maintain – and in some cases, increase – its economic chokeholds on countries such as Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua as coronavirus strains healthcare systems across the globe.
In the case of Venezuela, US “coercion” led to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) denying the South American state’s request for a $5 billion loan to help fight the pandemic, Stone contended. The US has ratcheted up its pressure on Caracas amid the global health crisis, accusing the government of drug trafficking and calling for a “transition government” to replace President Nicolas Maduro.
The award-winning filmmaker and activist said that the health crisis has shown the inhumanity of Washington’s foreign policy.
The current pandemic is exposing not only our government’s utter failures to protect its own citizens, but also its profound lack of human decency in dealing with other nations
Stone called for “serious moral self-reflection” in the US, warning that countless lives were at risk unless there is an “immediate change in course.”
Iran has registered nearly 3,500 Covid-19 deaths, with 19,700 confirmed cases, according to a tally maintained by Johns Hopkins University. President Hassan Rouhani said last week that the crisis is “a great opportunity for Americans to apologize... and to lift the unjust and unfair sanctions on Iran.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said a raft of US sanctions do not stop humanitarian aid from reaching Tehran, even as the UN and rights groups say the penalties are crippling Iran’s healthcare system.
“I’ve heard people talking about sanctions. The world should know there are no sanctions that prevent humanitarian assistance, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals from going to Iran,” Pompeo told reporters at a White House briefing on Wednesday, adding that the US offered to send aid but Iran refused.
Tehran has repeatedly slammed the US pressure campaign – which makes effectively impossible the bank transactions necessary to purchase vital supplies from overseas – deeming it a “historical disgrace” and “economic terrorism” that only complicates efforts to contain the fast-moving epidemic.
Pompeo’s dismissal comes as the State Department protested Iran’s request for a $5 billion emergency loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to fight the coronavirus, which has so far infected over 64,000 Iranians and killed almost 4,000.
After the head of Iran’s central bank, Abdolnaser Hemmati, wrote asking for the urgently needed funds due to the “widespread prevalence” of Covid-19 inside Iran, Foggy Bottom responded by insisting that Washington is “against allocating any loan to Iran” and that the country has sufficient resources to combat the virus on its own.
Some of Washington’s European allies have sidestepped US sanctions and sent medical supplies to Iran this week. Asked about this, US President Donald Trump said that the deliveries “don’t bother” him, but ruled out lifting or easing the sanctions.
The United Nations and other humanitarian bodies have repeatedly urged Washington to ease its sanctions amid the health crisis, with the UN Human Rights Commissioner Michelle Bachelet warning they were “impeding medical efforts” and could lead to the “collapse” of Iran’s healthcare system.
Last week, a group of 24 former senior diplomats – including four retired NATO chiefs – also urged the US to ease its sanctions on the Islamic Republic, arguing it could potentially save “hundreds of thousands of lives” there.
“US ‘maximum pressure’ through sanctions on Iran are compromising the performance of the Iranian healthcare system as Iran’s outbreak moves into its second month,” the European and American diplomats said in a statement on Sunday.
Pandemic or not, Washington has refused to relax its policy on either Iran or Venezuela where the coronavirus has also taken hold in recent weeks. The US Treasury department slapped additional sanctions on a number of Iranian firms in late March – accusing them of aiding terrorism – while the Department of Justice recently indicted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on “narco-terrorism” charges as the US Navy embarked on an anti-narcotics mission off the country’s coast.

Much remains to be learned about the coronavirus, though it is quite possible that it will not be possible to determine how it developed if the various governments that might be involved prove to be uncooperative. The Chinese carefully controlled the information on the virus in its early stages, though they eventually adopted a complete lockdown to prevent its spread that seems to have been successful and might serve as a model for other nations to follow if they can overcome concerns about threats to civil liberties that evolve from placing too much power in the hands of corrupt and ignorant government officials.
Over two weeks ago, I suggested that the current form of corona might have possibly escaped from someone’s lab where a weaponized virus was being developed, most likely in China itself, though nations like the United States and Israel which are believed to have significant capabilities in biowarfare as well as a geopolitical motive to unleash the disease on certain countries should not be excluded. I still believe that assessment should be considered as viable particularly as the politicization process involving the virus is now fully in play.
China is now claiming that U.S. soldiers involved in the World Military Games held in Wuhan back in October might have deliberately planted the virus, while President Donald Trump and other Republicans in the U.S. are calling the disease the Wuhan or China virus, implying willful or careless behavior by the Chinese and a clear effort to demonize the Beijing government by exploiting the appearance of the virus as a wedge issue. And one might take note of the fact that the virus has particularly hit both China and Iran, countries that are on Washington’s enemy list, which generates additional conspiracy theories.

In the midst of the coronavirus assault on humanity, the US still has sanctions affecting medical supplies to Iran.  What kind of friends does this make for the US which needs masks and medical information concerning treatment from China and medicines from China and India?
The US has been the bully for so long that we have made enemies, not friends.  Ask yourself, would you rather have friends or enemies?  Why does the US cultivate enemies and not friends?
Within our own country all we do is to turn people against one another.  Racial hatreds, gender hatreds, sexual preference hatreds, class hatreds.  The New York Times 1619 Project teaches blacks to hate whites, MeTwo teaches women to hate men.  Transgendered now attack feminists.  
Where in this is there a community, a society, empathy, mutual support?
Have we created a society that cannot survive?
I remember when critics were reformers.  They criticized in order to build awareness of the need for reforms.  They wanted to reform, not overthrow the system for the cause of some stupid ideology.  Today the purpose of criticism is demonization and destruction.  It is entirely negative.  Common ground is destroyed.
The media have failed us. The universities have failed us. Our leaders have failed us. We have failed ourselves. We are going to pay a massive price for this.

DESPITE A MASSIVE coronavirus-related public health crisis, an anti-Iran pressure group with close ties to the Trump administration is urging major pharmaceutical companies to “end their Iran business,” focusing on companies with special licenses — most often under a broadly defined “humanitarian exemption” — to conduct trade with Iran.
With a novel strain of coronavirus rapidly spreading around the world, Iran has been hit particularly hard, with 107 deaths and 3,515 infections recorded so far. Yet the pressure group, United Against Nuclear Iran, is carrying on with its campaign targeting medical trade with Iran despite the Trump administration’s special financial channels for humanitarian goods and medicine to reach the beleaguered country.

Considero ser necessário falar hoje, de novo, sobre os trágicos acontecimentos em Donbass e sobre os aspectos mais importantes de garantir a segurança da Rússia.

Começarei com o que disse no meu discurso de 21 de Fevereiro de 2022. Falei sobre as nossas maiores responsabilidades e preocupações e sobre as ameaças fundamentais que os irresponsáveis políticos ocidentais criaram à Rússia de forma continuada, com rudeza e sem cerimónias, de ano para ano. Refiro-me à expansão da NATO para Leste, que está a aproximar cada vez mais as suas infraestruturas militares da fronteira russa.

É um facto que, durante os últimos 30 anos, temos tentado pacientemente chegar a um acordo com os principais países NATO, relativamente aos princípios de uma segurança igual e indivisível, na Europa. Em resposta às nossas propostas, enfrentámos invariavelmente, ou engano cínico e mentiras, ou tentativas de pressão e de chantagem, enquanto a aliança do Atlântico Norte continuou a expandir-se, apesar dos nossos protestos e preocupações. A sua máquina militar está em movimento e, como disse, aproxima-se da nossa fronteira.

Porque é que isto está a acontecer? De onde veio esta forma insolente de falar que atinge o máximo do seu excepcionalismo, infalibilidade e permissividade? Qual é a explicação para esta atitude de desprezo e desdém pelos nossos interesses e exigências absolutamente legítimas?
